Kris Stewart

I want you to see and “feel” the same emotions that I am feeling when painting and the same emotions that the scene in the painting evokes within me. It is a joyful journey between artist and viewer.

Artist’s Statement

I am and oil painter in love with color and texture.  I try to use them both generously in my paintings to evoke a sense of “being there” in my viewers. I want you to see and “feel” the same emotions that I am feeling when painting and the same emotions that the scene in the painting evokes within me. It is a joyful journey between artist and viewer. I hope you feel the same.
