Multi-faceted. My Dad was an engineer and a worldclass musician and a survivalist. Mom was a free spirit, artistic and devoted to people and animals. I was a trouble maker. When did you know you wanted to be an artist?

I started drawing at age 2.

What would surprise people to learn about you?

I’m also a pilot and have flown piston and jet powered fighter aircraft, bi-plane and helicopter.

I’ve been a guest of the US Air Force on several missions around the world.

I’m a published author internationally, a historian, and devoted to mental, physical, and spiritual fitness.

What achievements in the area of art are you proudest of?

Having work displayed on every continent, winning awards on both side of the Atlantic and seeing my work on TV and in movies.

How would you describe your art process?

Painful, like giving birth to a child.

What is your usual studio/working day like?

Normal hours of operation are 3 a.m. to 9 p.m. including meals and exercise breaks

What is the most delightful part of your life outside of work?

My love of everything God has created for us. Oceans, mountains, skies, and every other living thing which I find fascinating. These miracles have always enriched my life in incalculable ways.
