There is nothing as exciting as painting plein air in the crisp autumn air surrounded by New England fall colors. Whether or not the weather cooperates, we will have fun exploring techniques for capturing what YOU see and feel in an outside landscape. We will cover how to choose your site and composition, how to begin capturing those gorgeous colors, and how to work with changing light. Bring your outdoor painting supplies and don’t forget a sunhat and plenty of water, as well as extra clothing, like sweaters or jackets, and lunch.
The class is open to all opaque mediums (oil, pastel, acrylic). Bring what you have, we will work with that. Note: Registrants will be notified about a rain date in the event of extreme weather.
