From Art in the Park exhibitor Kyle Stuckey:
I am teaming up with MAAA for this 1-day workshop and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach.

At this landscape workshop, we will be exploring the ways an oil painter can capture that bold and natural light of New England landscapes.

When: July 25th | 9am – 4pm
Where: Stone Arch Village, Keene, NH
Price: $140

Materials Needed: You will need all your own supplies for this workshop. CLICK HERE for list | I will provide a reference photo

I will be teaching color mixing, color theory, drawing, brushwork, and composition as well. In the mornings, I will begin with a demo where I will explain my train of thought as I paint, teach my techniques, and answer questions. During the rest of the day, you will be working on your own paintings as I give one-on-one instruction to each person.

This workshop is appropriate for the newer artist wanting to learn the basics of oil painting or the more experienced artist looking to refine their skills. Anyone who has already taken one of my landscape workshops is encouraged to attend again. The most intriguing aspect of being an artist is that the learning never ends; I am constantly expanding my knowledge of the craft and I am excited to have the opportunity the pass some of that on to other artists as well.

There will be a one-hour lunch break, and some wine to celebrate the end of a fun day of painting.

If you are interested in attending, or if you have any questions at all, please email me: info@kylestuckey.com.
