Requirements for Participants

If you have not previously participated in Art in the Park, please fill out the contact form. We will get back to you asking for 3-4 sample images of your work (or photographs of your display from another event). A link to a website is also acceptable. Media accepted for Display: Water Media, Acrylic, Oil, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Charcoal, Pen & Ink, Printmaking, Photography/Digital Art, Collage / Mixed Media, and Sculpture.

Requirement for 3-D artists:
Art in the Park welcomes non-utilitarian artwork that is primarily to-be-looked-at, not functional. Each year the Art in the Park Committee revisits this rule because potters, glassmakers and woodworkers request applications. Although we welcome artists in these media, we require that most of your work (75%) be visual and not functional (up to 25%). The intent is to preserve the fine art character of Art in the Park and let other events offer craft fair opportunities. The Art in the Park Committee will review new applications to ensure that artwork meets guidelines.

About Art in the Park

Each Labor Day weekend, artists from the Monadnock Region and beyond gather to display and sell their art.

This traditional festival brings people together to celebrate the visual arts in a sublime setting.

The open-air event makes it easy to meet and talk with the public and other artists.

Most artists return year after year, demonstrating the sales potential of this decades-old event.
