| Artist Statement: I believe that art has the ability to heal and connect a person with powerful experiences and memories. The goal of my work is to help the viewer connect with positive memories. They may look at a pastel of a golden retriever and be reminded of their own golden that used to wear the same expression. Even if a viewer can't recall a particular experience, I hope that my work helps them to see the beauty that is in nature. |
